SUMC Facilities List
SUMC has a list maintained by the church council of items that our church desires to obtain that would allow us to do some things we cannot now do or to improve the way we now do certain things.
If you know of an item or service that you believe is needed to help our church in fulfilling its mission, then this may be a candidate for the wish list. Such a request should be for something that ordinarily is not included in the annual budget, and something for which there is insufficient money in the general fund to support the item or service. A group or individual can request an item to be submitted for addition to the SUMC Facilities List.
In order for an item to be placed on the Facilities List, the requester needs to provide all pertinent information listed on the request form (description, quantity, price estimate, date needed). Please fill out the SUMC Facilities Request Form in full and submit in a timely manor. All items must be submitted by a Council or Staff member to the Church Council for consideration, please submit your request form to a council member or the church office or the Pastor prior to the monthly council meeting, which is the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30. At that time the Church Council will review the current Facilities List and consider any new items submitted. It is up to the Council to determine if an item is added on the list, and they will assign it a priority and determine if they have sufficient information or if something else is needed. The more information and justification that you can include with the request, the more likely it is that they can make a decision, and avoid delays caused due to insufficient information.
